Climbing the stairs

Up, Up! Neon Stairs is a PC arcade climbing game set on a staircase that rises from a city through the sky and space. You use two buttons, Climb and Turn: climb when the next stair goes the same way as the current one, or turn to take a step when it goes the other way. Each step has a time limit, which gets shorter as you climb. Hesitate or press the wrong button and you fall; keep your rhythm to build a combo.

Every 100 floors, the scenery changes, moving from the city to the sky, above the clouds, space, the galaxy and the sun. In space, planets drift past the stairs. The climb continues past floor 1,000.
