Unspoken is a tactical strategy game with dungeon-crawling elements, set amid a war for survival against the Abyss. You recruit characters, travel through chapters, uncover occult secrets and fight battles where a fallen character dies permanently.

Battles and lasting losses

Battles use shifting fields, weather effects and varied enemies, so you’ll need to adjust your tactics. Goals can change, and side objectives can be dropped if the fight goes badly. Characters don’t fully recover after battles: wounds, morale and limited-use supplies all need attention. Items break, and the group must decide who rests, what to spend gold on and when to use consumables.
