Uncatalogued

A library that changes each night

Uncatalogued is a raycast 3D game for PC about a night-shift cataloguing assistant in a city library that closed years ago. You search its shifting stacks for clues and record what you learn in a notebook. The basement stairs descend farther each night, but the library’s rules stay the same, so knowledge carries forward even when the night ends.

Books, staff notices, misprinted bulletins, journals from the missing Chief, notes in margins and chalk marks can all contain information. Some sources lie. Piece together the truths and they become catalog cards in your drawer. What you catalogue helps decide how the night ends when you reach the bottom of the library.
