Shop mechanics and negotiations

Twilight Tavern is a shop simulation game where you run a tavern in a peculiar town and engage in price negotiations with various customers. You name your shop and control the atmosphere by lighting a lantern to welcome visitors. When a customer requests a product, you negotiate the price. If you ask too much, they may counter your offer or leave without buying. Each sale involves direct interaction as you physically carry items from storage, place them on the shelves, and handle transactions personally.

Customer interactions

The game includes fifteen named regulars across ten distinct species, such as grim reapers, vampires, witches, and goblin peddlers, among others. These characters visit your shop regularly, and each has specific preferences and demands. You must learn their personalities through interactions to make successful sales; your judgment of character is essential, as selling to the wrong customer can result in worthless payments and losses.
