True Crime Engine

Investigating cases

True Crime Engine is a PC investigation game built around cases assembled from documents, photos, recordings, messages, witness statements and other materials. You decide what to examine and where to look next, piecing together information rather than following a fixed sequence of steps.

A case can send you outside the game to search the web, look up a place, check a website or compare details across sources. Some clues are hidden in files or recordings, so solving a case can mean paying attention to more than the information presented at first glance.
