Tricolore: Learn French

French learning on PC

Tricolore: Learn French is a French-learning game for PC, set around an illustrated café and neighbourhood. You choose a level from A1 to C2, set a daily goal, and work through lessons that introduce concepts before giving you practice. Vocabulary, conjugation, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, and writing are covered, with spaced repetition scheduling reviews.

Dialogues and pronunciation

You listen to situational dialogues, check your understanding, then record yourself and compare your pronunciation with the example audio. There are hundreds of dialogues, from everyday encounters to more advanced conversations. Dictation and hands-free listening provide other ways to practise French by ear.
