Trench League is a violent arena-sports game set in 2300, where nine armoured players on each side fight over a steel ball in a pit. You pass, shoot, punch and slide with one button, and lob the ball or sprint with the other. Knocking an opponent out earns points; the Reclaim then drags him off the pitch.

Matches and tactics

Scoring isn’t the only way to earn points. You can smash Watcher cameras, charge the ball at Tesla towers and contend with scrap thrown by the crowd. Four formations counter and are countered by one another, so picking a shape is part of preparing for a match.
