Game description

Total Chaos Mod is a total conversion mod for Doom II, functioning as a standalone horror game available on PC through the UZDoom source port. Set on Fort Oasis, an abandoned island once inhabited by coal miners, the player navigates through a deteriorating urban environment, driven by a mysterious radio transmission. The core of the game involves uncovering the island's dark secrets while facing increasing horrors lurking in the terrain.

Chapters and exploration

You progress through the game in nine chapters, each presenting different areas of the island to explore. These include apartments, shopping centers, utility tunnels, and more, leading to the central city and ultimately the mines. As you traverse these locations, you gather letters that unveil the backstory of what happened at Fort Oasis, piecing together the narrative through environmental storytelling.
