ABOUT THIS GAME
Simulation runs
Total Backfire is a cooperative third-person action roguelite about humanity's fight against extinction. Beneath humanity's last stronghold, Dr. Emmerich von Monsardo sends the descendants of an elite special forces squad into a simulation, hoping to restore the abilities their ancestors once had.
Each run drops you into a different action-movie scenario inspired by blockbusters from the 1990s and early 2000s. You fight alien invasions, survive zombie outbreaks, escape secret laboratories, and face colossal kaiju bosses.
