Story and setting

To Be Seen is a narrative-driven puzzle game for PC about a wandering spirit caught between life and death. Before that, a family’s grief over the sudden loss of a brother leads the parents to move abroad. Years later, postcards and a sealed box bearing your name point to an unfinished wish and send you back to your motherland to retrace the steps your brother never took. An unforeseen event then pulls you from the living world into the In-Between.

Two perspectives

The game switches between third-person exploration of the fantastical islands of the In-Between and first-person scenes set in family memories. As a spirit, you possess family members and see the world from their points of view. Their perceptions are part of how you uncover what happened and make progress.
