A Chance to Rewrite Your Story in "This One Doesn't Count"

In This One Doesn't Count, players assume the role of a down-on-his-luck father who rewinds his life to age 18, given a singular opportunity to rectify years of missed chances. Having squandered his life on daily lottery tickets, the protagonist's journey to ensure his daughter's future unfolds on the PC. The stakes are high, and every decision counts as he strives to collect enough money for her college tuition before that crucial exam day.

Lottery Mechanics Meet Strategic Cheating

The core gameplay revolves around scratch card mechanics that feel gratifying and dynamic. Players scratch off the silver coating to reveal hidden symbols and potential fortunes. Each round brings excitement, as players can face near-misses that heighten the thrill. But it's not just about luck; you must deploy your "methods" strategically. From reading ticket quality to outright cheating by swapping numbers and tampering with slots, every choice carries the risk of drawing suspicion from vendors, which can lead to abrupt failure.
