The Y-Files

Game overview

The Y-Files is a cooperative space exploration game for PC. Players are a part of a team sent by a corporation with the task of meeting resource quotas, activating a portal, and returning safely from various planets. The environment is hostile; each planet poses challenges that make survival difficult.

Ship building

In the game, players have the ability to build and modify their ships in real time. You find parts on the surface and attach them to the ship as you play. Components like engines and weapons can be installed, but doing so requires attentiveness to how they affect the ship's balance and handling. Improperly attached parts can lead to in-flight chaos, impacting the crew's ability to navigate.
