The Waking Deep - No Gods Above Nor Below is a base-building real-time strategy game for PC, set in a world where madness and horror have returned. The Church of Hope, a militaristic organization founded in the 1930s, contained the threat for a time. Ninety years later, reports of horrors are spreading again, and you build a base, gather resources, research technologies and command armies in battles that typically last 15 to 30 minutes.

Land and water

Maps are shaped by large bodies of water, so your choice of routes matters as much as the size of your army. Warships can attack supply routes from the coast, claim water rifts for extra income and hold areas land forces can't reach. You can build bridges across rivers and straits to open routes or connect expansions, then destroy crossings to cut off attackers or strand troops. Anyone on a bridge when it collapses goes down with it.
