Forging a rebellion
The Traitor's Anvil is a PC roguelite about a royal blacksmith framed for the Queen’s murder. Exiled to the Rust Wastes by King Aldric the Usurper, you forge weapons, armor and helmets, then arm a rebellion to fight back toward the throne.
Every piece of gear passes through three hands-on stages. Smelt the metal while keeping it in the sweet spot, hammer in rhythm, then finish the item by cutting gems or fitting grips and other fittings. Good work earns Masterwork quality. The right combination of ore, item, grip and fitting can reveal one of 40 legendary recipes, which are recorded in your Smith’s Book.
