The Scene is a PC street-car game about buying, driving, repairing and modifying cars in a city inspired by Charlotte, North Carolina. You can work on your own cars or run a shop, taking customers’ vehicles in, diagnosing faults, repairing them and collecting pay.

Repairs involve more than swapping parts. Warning lights, rough idles and engines that won’t crank need diagnosis; cars can be stripped on a lift in the right order, down to the rocker arms. Each part is tracked, so worn or missing parts affect the car. You decide whether to refurbish or scrap parts, and your mechanic skill affects the result. Parts can be ordered from a shop computer.
