Build a nation on Earth

The Price of Empire is a grand strategy game for PC set on a map of the real Earth, with no historical script or preset countries. You choose any unclaimed territory, name your nation, pick its color, and expand against up to 20 AI rivals pursuing the same goal.

The map has more than 150,000 land hexes, each about 40 km across. Elevation, climate, forests, rivers, and lakes shape the terrain, while mountains, deserts, rainforest, and tundra affect how quickly armies move. The 3D globe rotates and wraps around the planet from east to west, and modern borders don’t limit where nations can expand.
