The Ninth Witch’s Jail is a PC anomaly-hunting game set in the Middle Ages. You play an executioner hired to kill a witch in a prison where nine witches await execution. Everyone who has entered the prison has come out insane, and the witches’ influence is beginning to spread.

Spot the differences

The prison’s corridors appear to repeat in endless loops. To move toward the witch, you must inspect each corridor and decide whether something is different from the previous one. Correctly identifying whether an anomaly is present advances you to the next hallway. A mistake sends you back to the beginning, and you need nine correct answers in a row to reach the cell at the end.
