The Last Shift

Text adventure horror

The Last Shift is a single-player psychological horror game for PC, set during a 2 a.m. shift when you’re alone in a police station. You load an old text adventure on the police terminal and play by reading passages, typing commands, examining objects and solving inventory puzzles.

The station around you

As the story unfolds on the terminal, sounds, lights and movement in the office begin to echo what you’ve read. You’ll split your attention between the text and the room, watching and listening for events when you look away from the screen. Familiar locations return transformed in the dark world, and an in-game tablet map tracks where you are.
