The Lament

Psychological folk horror

The Lament is a psychological folk-horror adventure for PC. You play as Elena, an investigative journalist drawn to San Sombra, where familiar places shift and supernatural events put her perception of reality in question. Investigation, exploration, environmental puzzles and survival make up the game.

Investigating San Sombra

You search interconnected environments for clues and important items, photograph discoveries, and record Elena’s experiences in her journal. Puzzles and hidden information reveal what happened in San Sombra and open new paths. With Spectral Vision, you can perceive things hidden from ordinary sight. In some circumstances, Elena can also manipulate the environment to reveal objects, pathways and other possibilities.
