The Ladder

Unearthing the Layers of The Ladder

The Ladder is a first-person psychological horror experience that cleverly intertwines the mechanics of a walking simulator with a profound narrative. Players navigate a hauntingly crafted staircase that symbolizes pivotal moments and distorted memories from the protagonist's life. Each step up the ladder leads to a unique choice, compelling players to confront their own darker inclinations as they explore themes of greed, compromise, and the blurring of ethical boundaries.

Choices Matter in Every Step You Take

As players ascend, each level presents crucial decisions that shape the narrative and alter the atmosphere surrounding them. There are no straightforward paths; every choice reverberates through dialogues and the overall perception of reality. The absence of clear right or wrong answers emphasizes the constant tension felt throughout the game. Each consequence presents a reflection of the character’s inner turmoil, making choices deeply impactful.
