The Grounding

Tension and Strategy in The Grounding

In The Grounding, players are thrust into a chilling game that fuses strategy with suspense. You control a character who can only navigate the eerie environment by employing a crafty mechanic: smoking. The stakes rise as you must deftly balance your smoke intake while monitoring the movements of an unseen antagonist, creating a deeply engaging experience on PC that keeps you on your toes.

Unique Moving Mechanics Create Suspense

Your character’s mobility hinges on a peculiar rule. She only moves when you aren’t looking at her. This mechanic adds a psychological twist, compelling players to constantly shift their focus. The more you smoke, the faster she moves. This duality forces a challenging trade-off. Smoke more, accelerate your pace, but risk her closing in. Mastering this strategy is key to surviving her relentless pursuit.
