ABOUT THIS GAME

A Song Dynasty official

The Greatest Corrupt Official of the Great Song Dynasty is a PC historical political game set during Emperor Shenzong’s reign. You play Zhao Jiu, a minor official exiled to a remote frontier after his father is stripped of office. From that outpost, Zhao Jiu’s story can lead toward corruption and a bid for power, or toward helping people and supporting the unstable empire.

The story unfolds amid conflict between Wang Anshi’s radical faction and the conservatives represented by Sima Guang. Their struggle at court escalates into the second “Disaster of Party Persecution,” while Shenzong’s wavering judgments add to the court’s instability.
