Game premise and duties

The Final Departure is a PC game where you take on the role of a night-shift station master at a train station. Your primary responsibilities include checking the timetable, routing trains, selling tickets, making public announcements, addressing passenger queries, inspecting the platforms, and ensuring the station remains in order. The game is set during the night when very few trains are scheduled to arrive.

Unusual occurrences

As the night progresses, you will encounter several unusual events. For instance, if you hear someone calling and laughing, you are advised not to investigate, as there is nothing there. Should a passenger act strangely, you need to handle the situation without asking unnecessary questions. Any unexplainable occurrences should also be ignored, as it’s suggested that some things are best left alone.
