The Dead Must Rest

Manage a Graveyard in The Dead Must Rest

In The Dead Must Rest, a medieval cemetery-management horror game for PC, players step into the somber role of a gravekeeper tasked with handling the village's deceased. With a unique blend of resource management and supernatural themes, this game challenges you to maintain the peace in your graveyard, until your errors rise from the ground after dark. Will you keep the dead at rest, or will the consequences of your actions haunt you?

The Routine of a Gravekeeper

Every day, a wagon rolls in, delivering bodies and burial paperwork, often riddled with clerical errors. This logistical puzzle is your responsibility, requiring critical thinking and a steady hand. You'll need to ensure that each corpse is matched with its corresponding file, prepping them for burial to maintain the village’s necromantic integrity. The stakes rise as you face challenges such as family deception, turning what should be an honest day's work into a frantic balancing act.
