Cultivation and the climb
The Crooked Ascent is a PC cultivation game about starting at Qi Refining and trying to climb through Foundation Building, Golden Core and Nascent Soul to ascension. You choose one of six protagonists, each with their own origins and something they can’t let go of. Their stories unfold as they travel through regions shown as one large map with forking roads.
You have one life and a finite lifespan. Secluded cultivation, travel, auctions and duels all cost years, so you must weigh when to push for the next stage and when to spend more time where you are. When your years run out, the run ends.
