The Car Dealer is a PC car-dealing simulation about building a business from a rented, empty garage. You start with cash and a family counting on you, then buy cars, set prices and try to sell them for a profit. The goal is to grow from a street garage to a Premium Showroom, while covering daily costs such as parking and insurance for cars that remain unsold.

Inspections and car histories

Each car has a history that can include crash records, replaced parts, a resprayed hood or a tired engine. Sellers may leave details out or lie about them. You can pay for an inspection, but the result depends on the inspector’s skill: a rookie might read a tyre with 30% wear as 18% or 42%, while an expert’s reading falls between 28% and 32%. An inaccurate report can hide a defect or make a sound car look bad. Paying for an inspection gives you certainty; otherwise, you make an offer based on an uncertain report.
