The American Dream: Past Due

The Harsh Reality of The American Dream: Past Due

The American Dream: Past Due thrusts players into a gritty, decision-making simulator that captures the weight of financial despair. After a sudden layoff, the veneer of a stable middle-class life strips away, leaving you with a mere federal unemployment check to support your family. Players navigate the complexities of familial expectations and mounting bills, making tough choices to keep their heads above water.

Navigate Tough Choices Every Day

Day-to-day struggles come to life in this dynamic narrative. Players face decisions that are emotionally charged: do you buy new sneakers for your child or yell at them to save money? Each choice can lead to unexpected consequences, forcing you to weigh immediate needs against long-term implications for your family’s well-being. The mechanics boil down to simple swipes (left for one choice, right for another) but the emotional weight is anything but simple.
