A Finnish island horror story

Tarpit is a psychological horror game for PC, set across three islands and inspired by traditional tar-making methods in Finland. You’re looking for a friend who disappeared after the two of you went to investigate an abandoned church after school. To find out what happened and escape together, you’ll face supernatural beings and learn how to make pine tar.

Tasks and survival

You complete tasks as you explore the islands, discovering old and unnatural things along the way. Learning traditional methods of making pine tar is part of the search for your friend and the effort to break the curse over the islands.
