Tantalus

Hell’s penal colony

Tantalus is a role-playing game set in Hell, where Yerba, a demon who can’t remember her past life, has been accused of heresy and placed under the cruel angel Mastema’s supervision. She meets Satan, a demon who plans to topple the rule of the “One True God” and free the wrongly convicted. His plan involves Yerba, a mysterious woman named Lilith, and a treasure from God’s sanctuary.

Battles and magic

Combat is about making enemies surrender, through pain or a knockout. Yerba and Satan fight together: Yerba is a frail witch who can unleash magical attacks, while Satan is a sturdy, mischievous pacifist who supports her. Spells use focus points, earned through strategic actions during battle. You can also use strengthening and weakening magic, and exploit elemental weaknesses to make enemies flinch and lose their turn.
