Tales of the Southern Seas

Sailing and trade

Tales of the Southern Seas is a single-player sailing adventure for PC set in the late Ming era, where maritime trade meets strange encounters at sea. You sail between ports, look for trade opportunities and plan routes through changing winds, competing interests and unfamiliar waters.

At each port, you can check prices and supplies, choose cargo and set aside space for provisions. You can sell goods, manage warehouses and invest in local infrastructure to build a foothold along the coasts. The trade decisions continue at sea: cargo takes up room that could go to supplies or equipment, and longer passages require planning for what your ships and crew will need.
