Unraveling Mystery in 禁忌taboo

In 禁忌taboo, players step into a chilling world where the lines between dreams and reality blur. Set against the backdrop of a tragic school bus accident, the story follows high school student Xu Can as he awakens a peculiar perception ability. Joined by the enigmatic Yueling Yao, he returns to an abandoned mining town to unearth forgotten memories and confront unsettling truths.

Nonlinear Narrative Choices

The game employs a nonlinear narrative structure that empowers players to forge their own paths through the story. Rather than following a single route, decisions made throughout the game lead to various outcomes. This mechanic encourages repeated playthroughs, allowing players to explore different branches of the storyline and uncover secrets that may have remained hidden in their previous attempts.
