Swords, Arrows & Shields

Swords, Arrows & Shields: A 2D Card Game Experience

Swords, Arrows & Shields stands out as a compelling 2D card game that intricately weaves together elements of luck and strategy. Set within a tarot-themed universe, players engage in 10 intense rounds where the goal is to outscore their opponents using sets of Major Arcana cards. This engaging gameplay encourages not only tactical decisions but also an understanding of opponent behavior to emerge victorious.

Exploring Minor Arcana Dynamics

At the heart of the gameplay lies the Minor Phase, where each turn begins with players selecting Minor Arcana cards, Swords, Arrows, or Shields. The interplay between these types follows a classic rock-paper-scissors dynamic, introducing layers of strategy. Clever players will need to anticipate their opponent's moves, as Swords overpower Shields, Arrows defeat Swords, and Shields block Arrows. This crucial decision-making moment can shift the momentum of the game.
