Arena combat

Swords & Sodas is a turn-based tactical fighting game for PC, framed as friends taking turns running an arena instead of a campaign. You bring a character to each bout and fight on a grid in an arena chosen by the Game Master, or GM. Arenas include a stone court with pillars, a flooded ring, a sand pit with tall grass, and a vault guarded by a dragon.

Positioning matters. Take the high ground, use cover, keep a reaction ready to cast Shield or strike someone who walks past, and spread out before a dragon breathes fire. You can turn the camera between four angles to line up a Fireball.
