SURANGAMA

Brave the Abyss in SURANGAMA

SURANGAMA invites players to wield a jade sword and confront the horrors of Diyu, a terrifying shadow realm steeped in Chinese-Buddhist lore and Cantonese folklore. Following the journey of Tse Li Li, players awaken on the ash-covered shores of a blood-red river, pulled into a world filled with vengeful spirits and lost souls. Armed with the guidance from a mysterious voice and the power of the sword, players must help Li Li uncover her past and seek a way back home.

Unraveling the Haunting Narrative

This game uniquely portrays Diyu as a complex environment, blending elements of Kowloon Walled City with the neon underbelly of Hong Kong. It is a place where secrets lie buried and the weight of emotional burdens must be lifted for escape. Drawing inspiration from the Surangama Sutras and rich cultural traditions, SURANGAMA challenges players to navigate the intricacies of a dark narrative that unfolds through reflection and revelation.
