Strange Tales of Holmes: The Sealed Cylinder

A London murder mystery

Strange Tales of Holmes: The Sealed Cylinder is a classic-style mystery adventure for PC, set in 19th-century London. You play Holmes, investigating Lord Manning’s murder at his estate outside the city. The case is framed as a story Holmes tells Watson about an investigation from years before Watson began recording his cases.

Investigating the manor

On a stormy night, guests at the Manning estate discuss a metal tube containing a closely guarded secret. Later, Lord Manning is found dead in his bedroom. You search the manor for clues, examine evidence, and compare the accounts of the people who were there. Their movements and the time of the murder help establish who could have been where.
