Stoic

The Challenge of Stoic on PC

Stoic invites players into a world that balances whimsy and intensity. This platforming game is as challenging as it is intriguing, as players take control of a spherical boulder on a quest for purpose. The game’s design encourages precision through its nuanced physics, requiring skillful navigation through its punishing levels. Whether scaling a daunting mountain or simply taking in the beautiful landscapes, every choice impacts the journey.

Philosophy and Gameplay Intertwined

Drawing inspiration from the life of Zeno of Citium, the game transforms a historical philosopher’s narrative into a unique challenge. After a devastating shipwreck, players embody Zeno's transformed state, a cumbersome boulder seeking meaning. This underlying theme of finding purpose drives not only the story but also the mechanics, tying emotional weight to each gameplay moment. The platforming experience is steeped in philosophical symbolism, creating a connection between action and reflection.
