Reality Bends in Start Running

In Start Running, players are thrust into a surreal landscape where the struggle to begin a marathon takes on a life-or-death dimension. Luis, a runner wracked by procrastination, must not only conquer 20 miles but also confront a reality that’s warped around him. With his dog Pistachio alongside, this visual novel combines elements of puzzle-solving and escape room mechanics to engage players in an unexpectedly gripping narrative.

Procrastination Meets Surrealism

Luis faces not just physical hurdles but psychological ones as well. He’s equipped with a familiar goal: complete his training run. The twist? Inertia becomes a menacing adversary, with the city’s architecture shifting and warping in response to his hesitations. Players navigate through a world distorted by Luis's inner conflict, making every step feel momentous and loaded with tension.
