What Starscrip is

Starscrip is a single-player space RPG focused on trading, company management, and combat set within a living economy defined by a simulated history. Players begin with a small ship and minimal funds in a galaxy that is already thriving. You build your fleet, manage resources, and engage with other companies and factions as you expand your influence in this dynamic universe.

Gameplay mechanics

In the game, you can hire mercenaries, found a company, and charter expeditions. You’re not just limited to trading; you can participate in the galactic war, piracy, privateering, salvaging, and bounty collection. The gameplay includes managing production and demand across different ports, which affects stock and prices based on an ongoing simulation that continues even when you're not actively playing.
