In Spryward, players step into the shoes of Deshaun Martin, a man turned superhero in a post-apocalyptic landscape ravaged by a zombie virus. Struggling to reclaim the remnants of civilization, he adopts the superhero persona of Spryward. Set against a backdrop of corporate corruption and supervillain schemes, Deshaun must navigate a society that teeters on the brink, protecting his city, Credell, from both the undead and insidious forces vying for control.

Superpower Mechanics Through Electromagnetism

At the heart of Spryward lies Deshaun's unique abilities. After infection from the zombie virus, he gains powers that work through electromagnetism. This allows him to manipulate friction, enabling him to stick to surfaces and perform incredible aerial maneuvers. Players will engage in 2.5D platforming that feels fluid and dynamic, with Deshaun able to halt his connection to gravity temporarily, a mechanic that opens up strategic depth during combat and traversal.
