SpaceSim: Pale Blue Dot

Rocket building and spaceflight

SpaceSim: Pale Blue Dot is a single-player space simulation for PC about building rockets, flying them and studying space. You start with a small test rocket, then work toward missions in Earth orbit and farther out in the Solar System. Launch objectives connect each flight to the next: completing them unlocks parts and reference blueprints, while the design work is yours to solve first.

In the hangar, you assemble tanks, engines, boosters, decouplers, capsules, landing gear and payload fairings. Mass, thrust and delta-v help you judge whether a design fits its mission. A lunar lander, orbital launcher and deep-space probe call for different combinations of parts and propulsion. Before launch, the flight check explains what the rocket can achieve and where it falls short.
