A deity's own wish

Soom is an isometric action game about Jormun, a totem deity who once granted humanity’s wishes. As wishes became easier to fulfill, people grew complacent, and one deity blocked the River of Wishes. The stagnant wishes rotted into monsters, and Jormun was sealed away. After a long slumber, Jormun awakens and sets out to pursue a wish of their own.

Parrying and glaive combat

Fights are built around reading enemy movements and choosing when to defend or attack. Parry an incoming attack at the right moment to interrupt it and create an opening. Then use Jormun’s glaive for regular strikes or charge up a heavier blow. Each encounter asks you to turn a defensive move into a chance to attack.
