Somebody's Home: The Boarding House

Game overview

Somebody's Home: The Boarding House is a first-person horror game set in a 1980s boarding house. The player assumes the role of a resident who has rented a room in the house. The narrative unfolds over three days as you interact with the boarding house's staff and other residents, instead of engaging in traditional combat or puzzle-solving mechanics.

Gameplay mechanics

The game emphasizes exploration, household chores, and conversation. You run errands for the elderly woman who manages the house, assist with dinner preparations, and converse with the other residents. There are no combat elements, inventory management, or puzzles to solve. Instead, you focus on the mundane activities and dialogues present in your character's surroundings.
