Why Soft(A)ware Challenges Reality

“Awareness is the first step to escape.” In Soft(A)ware, a surreal puzzle-platformer for PC, you navigate a vast, hostile digital prison designed to control your every move. This virtual world isn't just a backdrop; it's an antagonist in itself. Here, you awaken with the power to redefine the very rules that bind you.

Gravity and Time: Your Tools for Escape

Mastering gravity-shifting traversal is essential. Walk on walls or ceilings and discover impossible paths that become your lifeline. Coupled with time-rewind mechanics, you can undo mistakes and experiment with solutions to elaborate challenges. This duality of mechanics forms the core of your gameplay, inviting players to think outside the box while pushing against the constraints of a rigid system.
