Skyhold

Defending Mist Gorge

Skyhold is a PC city-defense strategy game set twelve years after the sky split open. Mist Gorge Basin is the last city with its lights still on, and you command its defenses as Grey Falcon. Rift openings send anomalous creatures and enemy craft toward the city, from bell jellyfish and gravity shells to a thunderhead whale and carpet-bombing sky carriers.

You fire rooftop autocannons, missile silos and anti-aircraft turrets, and can deploy guardian mechs hidden underground. Destroying an enemy isn't the end of the problem: its wreckage falls with physics, so a bomber brought down over downtown can crush your own towers. You can try to lure it beyond the city before shooting it down.
