Sky On Fire : 1940

World War II flight combat

Sky On Fire: 1940 is a PC flight combat game set over Europe during the Second World War. You fly fighter and bomber missions, taking part in dogfights, intercepting bomber formations, attacking airfields and ground targets, and striking ship convoys with torpedoes. You can switch to any crewmember in your aircraft, including the bombardier and defensive gunners.

Missions and campaigns

The single-player game has four ways to play: set up a quick mission, enter a dogfight, attack ground targets, or practice landings. Linear campaigns follow historical events and real squadrons. In the dynamic campaign, your actions influence the course of a larger simulated conflict.
