Skapheim: The Tenth Realm

Game premise and objectives

Skapheim: The Tenth Realm is a roguelike city-builder where you draft terrain, buildings, contracts, and obelisks to construct a realm in a small patch of the Void. The main objective is to create a realm strong enough to withstand Odin's judgment, which happens at the end of each year. You will engage in runs that last 10 to 30 minutes, focusing on both short-term placements and long-term synergies.

Building mechanics

You will create roads, shape rivers, and settle forests and mountains within the realm. Each building and placement has specific bonuses that can strengthen nearby structures. You can also complete contracts, which offer challenging objectives in exchange for new bonuses. This requires strategic planning and adaptation to maximize your score while balancing immediate gains against future potential.
