Game premise and objectives

Sir, We Have a Pit Problem is a bullet-heaven action roguelite where you take on the role of the Pit, an entity that kills soldiers and consumes their bodies and Souls. The main objective is to build powerful weapon combinations and survive against increasingly larger armies. The aristocrats in the game recruit peasants to jump into the Pit in an attempt to kill it, so your task is to defeat them first and consume their remains.

Combat and weapons

Combat involves directly controlling the Pit while your weapons automatically engage enemies. You can choose from 12 different weapons, each with their own attack patterns and upgrade paths. Upgrades to weapons can include enhancements such as increased damage, additional projectiles, forks, piercing shots, cooldown reductions, and area-of-effect attacks. The game includes 60 unique weapon upgrades that change the mechanics of each weapon and work in combination with built-in meta upgrades.
