Shio: Be With Me

A companion on the train

Shio: Be With Me is a focus companion game set on a one-car train that never quite reaches its destination. You accept commissions, choose which road the train takes, and work beside Shio, a vampire girl who sits reading alone. She starts out cold and sharp-tongued, and isn’t happy to see you. Spending time together gradually changes how she speaks and what she’s willing to share.

Roads and passing time

Each commission sends the train along a different road, with scenery that can include forests, ruins, and strange lands. Unusual creatures may appear along the way. Outside the window, time moves from morning to evening and into the night; rain and clear skies also change what you see. These conditions affect the mood inside the train as well.
