Shield Line: Riot Police Tactics

Riot police tactics

Shield Line: Riot Police Tactics is a real-time tactics game for PC in which you command a riot police unit across city districts. Missions range from peaceful marches to post-derby clashes, looted shopping centers and a station under siege. You decide how to respond, balancing force against announcements and negotiation: excessive force can make a crowd grow, while a well-timed intervention can end a day without bloodshed.

Crowds contain 250 to 300 people per mission, each with their own mood, anger, fear and patience. Peaceful marchers, ringleaders, militants, hooligans and looters behave differently. Panic can spread, and narrow streets can become crushes, so where and how you deploy officers matters.
