A story of memory and family

拾光余温 is a 2.5D picture-book narrative game for PC about an elderly woman and her family. You click old objects in realistic scenes to trigger memories, then piece together the family’s past across layers of reality and illusion.

Scenes and memories

The present-day scenes use low-saturation warm gray. Old objects are marked with warm white outlines; clicking one opens a yellowed memory album and takes you into a memory realm lit in soft yellow. Layered parallax gives the scenes a 2.5D look, with hand-drawn characters and facial performances.
